My Week #6

Sorry I'm late with this weeks post, we've been busy enjoying the bank holiday weekend!
Swimming Lessons
On Monday morning I took Issy swimming, we haven't been for 3 weeks due to the easter half-term.

Issy got into the pool without a fight but was upset most of the lesson saying she "doesn't like water in her eyes" and "doesn't like lying on her back"! Her favourite part is monkey walking (moving from one end of the pool to the other whilst holding on to the edge), hopefully we'll overcome her other fears over the next few weeks. After swimming we went to my mums for lunch where Issy insisted on having scrambled eggs with jam on toast!
Lunch @ Nanny's
Isabelle spent Tuesday morning at playgroup followed by lunch with Yasmin and Finnley at Dunhelm, where I also picked up a chandelier Issy's bedroom.

We spent the day at home on Wednesday and Thursday, cleaning, ironing and making the most of the sun doing a spot of gardening, Issy loves watering the plants!
Little green fingers

On Friday Mr W and I went to an evening meeting at Bangor on dee races with the family, we went on the open course and took a picnic. We lost on every race but luckily we both won all our money back on the last race! :)

On Saturday morning we met some family for breakfast at our local farm shop and then took Isabelle for a walk around Chester and had lunch at The White Horse as she loves the play area there. In the evening we went round to a friends house to celebrate his birthday... Happy Birthday Greg!

And finally, Sunday was spent looking around local furniture shops with Mr W, Issy and my mother-in law and we bought a daybed for the spare room. We then went to Broughton Retail Park for a walk around the shops and to do the weekly food shop :/

And that was our week! Did you get up to anything over the Bank Holiday weekend? xXx
