The Bump: 29 Weeks

I am now 29 weeks and can't believe it's only 11 weeks to go until the big day, how scary is that?!

Last week Mr W made a start on the nursery, we are using everything we had from Issy but I wanted to give the room a fresh coat of paint in a colour a little softer than white we had previously painted it. I just need to buy a few finishing touches such as shelves, pictures and maybe a poang nursing chair from ikea for late night feeds.

Last week I went for my 28 week blood test (i've occasionally been feeling a little faint during the day) so this should highlight if i'm anaemic and need some extra supplements. I also had a midwife appointment and i'm currently measuring a week behind, before referring me for a growth scan she wants me to go back at 30 weeks to see if baby is growing at a steady pace.

This week I had my whooping cough vaccine which also covers you for polio, diphtheria and tetanus. The nurse said there may be some mild side effects such as swelling, redness or tenderness and all it has been the most painful injection i've ever had, it's been two days since I had it and my arm is still hurting and I can't lie on it :(
